Role Description
We are seeking a full-time Senior Backend Engineer to join our team in Esbjerg. In this role, you will be responsible for building and maintaining high-performance backend systems using Java. You will work on developing scalable services, integrating with message brokers like RabbitMQ, and ensuring seamless data flow and system reliability. Collaboration with cross-functional teams is key to delivering efficient and maintainable software solutions.

Qualifications

• 4–8 years of backend development experience, primarily with Java and Spring Boot
• Strong knowledge of relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL); experience with NoSQL systems is a plus
• Hands-on experience with message brokers, particularly RabbitMQ (RMQ)
• Experience developing RESTful APIs and microservices
• Solid understanding of software architecture, design patterns, and data structures
• Experience with version control (Git) and CI/CD tools
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good communication and collaboration abilities
• A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
